River Beult  Situated on the A229 [Maidstone to Staplehurst road] at Style Bridge (opposite the pub). The ¾ mile left hand bank stretch [looking up-stream from the bridge] can produce some very good catches. This is a very nice quiet piece of river to fish. It has some surprisingly big fish to be taken, Tench of 7lb 10oz, Pike up to 20lb, Chub of 2lb plus and quality Roach, Perch and the odd bream. Nowadays you can also catch a few exotic species that escaped the fish farm up the road   Night fishing and dogs allowed. E.A. regulations regarding closed season applies. Tench, Pike, Carp, Bleak, Dace and Roach to be caught here also anything that has escaped from the fish farm up the road over the past couple of years. 2 rods only allowed. Night fishing permitted.
